Egypt registers Russian vaccine against coronavirus Sputnik V
MOSCOW, Feb 24 (PRIME) -- The Egyptian Drug Authority has registered Russian vaccine against the coronavirus Sputnik V, the Russian Direct Investment Fund (RDIF) said in a statement on Wednesday.
"The RDIF announces registration of the Russian vaccine against the coronavirus Sputnik V by the Egyptian Drug Authority. Egypt, the most populated country on Middle East, where more than 100 million people live has become the 35th state in the world to have approved the use of Sputnik V vaccine," the fund said.
Sputnik V is also one of the top three of globally approved vaccines, the fund said.
